Sway is a thick, hand-knotted tassel finished with a ribbed finial, hung from the corner of a cushion like a piece of jewellery.

The tassel has been sourced from a small workshop in Odessa, Ukraine, producing decorative trims by hand. The strands are cut, gathered and bound one tassel at a time, giving it a weight and a movement that catches as it falls.

The finial is designed by Studio Nicholas, hand-cast in brass in Indonesia by a small family-run workshop of artisans and plated in 99% silver. Its ribbed form echoes the details on Hush and Lull, drawing the collection together as one family.

Sway is designed for Lilt, and hangs from a single corner. It is the only ornament the cushion asks for.

Assembled by hand in Noosa, Queensland, Sway is proudly Australian Made, finished one piece at a time by a small team of artisans working to an exacting standard.
