Chime is cut from a mohair velvet so dense the surface changes tone as you move around it, bordered by an embroidered tape you will want to run a finger along.

The mohair is spun from the fleece of the Angora goat and woven in Britain. It is a fibre with a lustre that lifts as the light moves across it, and enough resilience to hold its pile full and even.

Around the border sits an embroidered tape from a New York house that has been shaping considered American interiors since 1889. Each motif is built thread by thread, closer to fine passementerie than to ordinary trim. It is the heart of the design, and the reason every other element is held back.

The piping is cut from a cotton and linen union, woven in Britain. Matte and fine, it sits against the pile of the mohair as a grounding line, finishing the cushion with the precision of tailoring.

Sewn and assembled in Noosa, Queensland, this cushion is proudly Australian Made, hand-finished one cushion at a time by a small team of artisans working to an exacting standard.
